Dear Trustees,
The Edmonds College Federation of Teachers sent their demand to bargain with the management of Edmonds College on December 16, 2025. Bargaining started on February 4, 2026, which is seven weeks later. Since bargaining started, the Faculty Collective Bargaining Team has submitted 25 proposals for review by the management team. The management team has not given a single response to any of them. For comparison, the management team has submitted only one substantive proposal to the faculty union team at the latest bargaining session on March 11.
The last contract bargaining process took 18 months, which is an egregious amount of time. On behalf of the faculty union, I am asking the management team to stop stalling and move forward so we can have a contract by June!
